Mark your calendars and join us for the Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association’s 2025 Annual Meeting on Saturday, May 3, at Sociable Cider Werks, coinciding with the City of Minneapolis’ Neighborhood Day celebration! This is a FREE event, but we are asking people to RSVP.

The Annual Meeting will begin at 3:00 p.m., where you’ll hear neighborhood updates, learn about upcoming projects, and have the opportunity to vote in the Board elections. Your voice matters—help shape the future of Lower Northeast!

Get Involved!
We are currently seeking candidates for the board of directors. Anyone who lives, works, owns a business or owns property in either the Beltrami or Northeast Park neighborhoods is eligible to run for a seat on the board. Responsibilities include attending monthly board meetings; participating on a committee; volunteering at neighborhood events; and/or helping with neighborhood projects.

Serving on the board is a rewarding way to get involved, meet neighbors, and work collaboratively on initiatives that enhance our community. Board members help guide LNENA’s mission, advocate for neighborhood priorities, and support programs that promote equity, safety, and livability.

Who Should Consider Running?
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences. Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the neighborhood, your voice matters. If you care about issues like public safety, community events, local business support, and neighborhood improvements, we encourage you to run. 🎉 Kick off the day with some friendly competition!
We’re hosting a bean bag tournament starting at 12:00 p.m., on the day of the Annual Meeting. Grab a partner and register your team for $25. It’s a great way to have fun, meet neighbors, and support your community.

🍎 Enjoy local cider and community spirit at Sociable Cider Werks while connecting with fellow residents. Sociable Cider Werks will donate $1 of every beverage sold to the Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association.
